 JACQUELINE ⇔ USED TO BE JACKIE ❝ she loved you a lot, you know. she told me so. ❞ Once upon a time there was a teenage girl who had an imaginary friend by the name of Jackie. While she had normal, real life friends, the one person she knew she could count on even if everyone else fell away was Jackie. Jackie loved her kid and thought that maybe she'd be a rare case where she'd only be a castaway when her kid died. She was right in one respect, she did become a castaway when her kid died but her kid died while she was still a teenager, the victim of a freak car accident. Now, Jackie never wanted to be a castaway until she absolutely had to be and Jackie was determined to get someone in her kid's family to remember her.Once upon a time, the teenage girl's mother remembered Jackie. Jackie became Jacqueline and serves as her imaginary confidante (after all, friend seems too childish). Once she's done with the mother, she'll be a castaway, but she's okay with that, after all, everyone has to become one some day. Until then though, she'd prefer to keep her kid as long as she can, just so she can spent the rest of her time feeling very good about what she's done. |
